As stated in the call for papers, the submission for Winter-PETS 2009 can take one of two forms:
Authors submitting papers detailing approaches for either density
estimation/count, tracking, and/or flowi/event detection must
submit accompanying XML results for the PETS 2009 sequences. The
definition of density, tracking, and flow/events to be recognised and
the XML submission schema are given below.
The XML Schema for the submission is given here.

N.B. All parameter configurations of your system must be reported in the submitted paper, these must also be commented in the submitted XML (see the provided examples). Parameter twiddling to obtain optimal (and unrepresentative) results for each sequence is discouraged and must be reported in your paper.
The submitted XML results will be evaluated separately for presentation at the PETS workshop, using appropriately chosen metrics .
The paper format is IEEE two-column. The author kit which contains detailed instructions about the preparation of the paper is available at ftp://ftp.computer.org/press/outgoing/proceedings/. The maximum page length of the final paper is 8 pages.
All printed material, including illustrations, must be kept within a print area of 6-7/8 inches (17.5 cm) wide by 8-7/8 inches (22.5 cm) high. A detailed description of the format is given in the IEEE Author Guidelines. There is a simple LaTex template for this format that may assist you in meeting this format. Or see the MS word template. The submitted file should be in Postscript or PDF format and printed to file as US Legal A4.
Please submit your paper online at the following website: Submissions. To submit an XML file, please generate a ZIP file, and email to: submissions@winterpets09.net providing full author details.
Do not identify authors in the submitted paper. All reviewing will be double blind, so the paper must not include any information which allows the authors to be identified.
Please note that you may not receive a confirmation of your paper
submission
until just after the paper submission deadline. However, early
submissions
are encouraged.
