Segmentation and classification of remotely sensed LIght Detection And Ranging (LIDAR) data contributes to applications such as flood modelling, 3D city generation, corridor mapping and many more. Our work aims to develop novel classification algorithms for terrain features such as buildings, streets, railways and bridges, but also rivers, basins and vegetation using data fusion.
